Fair Use Policy

1. Purpose

SecurePay offers shopping cart software and web hosting services to small sized businesses with unlimited amounts of disk space and/or other resources, such as bandwidth transfer and email accounts. This unlimited service is intended for small sized businesses to use solely to run and operate websites or shopping carts.

The SecurePay Fair Use Policy (FUP) is to ensure that our customers do not use our services in an excessive, unreasonable or fraudulent manner inconsistent with the reasonable use expected by a small sized business. Unreasonable usage may impact the quality or reliability of our services.

2. Who does this FUP apply to?

SecurePay FUP applies to all of SecurePay's customers and anyone who uses services or software that SecurePay provides.

3. What are unreasonable uses?

3.1 Unlawful, fraudulent, criminal or illegal activities.

3.2 Use of hosting as a virtual disk or as a space for files that are not elements of your website or shopping cart.

3.3 Posting illegal content including, but not limited to, pirated software, music, films, applications or other media stored in any file formats or extension.

3.4 Use of mass distributing of files such as torrents or mirrors.

3.5 Sharing of your account.

3.6 Resale, re-supply or commercial exploitation.

3.7 Making excessive use of, or placing unusual burdens on, the network. For example, sending or receiving large volumes of email or excessively large email attachments, or storing images where the space utilisation is inconsistent with that of a small sized business.

4. Average SecurePay customer use

On average, a SecurePay small sized customer uses 1MB to 10MB website hosting space including pages, images and all other files.

On average, a SecurePay small sized customer uses 500MB to 1,500MB bandwidth per month.

5. Our rights

5.1. Where you are in breach of SecurePay FUP, SecurePay may contact you to discuss changing your usage so that it conforms to this Fair Use Policy.

5.2. If, after SecurePay has contacted you, your excessive or unreasonable use continues, SecurePay may, without further notice to you, suspend or cancel your services.
